I got my hair done like this about a year ago. It was a great style and colour, but the red tips faded very quickly. I would recomend it though! The hairdresser dyed my hair red and then highlighted the tips. She then put more red and that's how I got the vibrant red.
I did this a few days ago. I bleached it using Nordic Blonde Ultimate Lightener. It worked really well. I could see my hair going lighter while I was still applying it! Only thing in, now I don't know how to go from this to platinum blonde. I've been searching the net for days and just can't find anything. I need help!!
im not sure if this is obvious or not, but after you bleach your hair, you need to dye over it. The bleach strips your hair of all the colour to an ugly yellow/orange colour, then you can buy a blonde hair dye to put over the top and you should get a really nice blonde colour. So bleaching your hair is not the last step, you need to buy a box dye to get a natural looking colour. You might already know this, but i just thought i'd tell you cos your hair is...well...yellow. dw it's easily fixed :)
ReplyDeleteHey, thanks Lean Beans,
ReplyDeleteYeh, I did the bleaching ages ago. Ieneded up bleaching it again to get it as pale as I could (because I wanted to go platinum - can't dye it) then I toned it multiple times. I got it to a really nice blonde stage and then the sun started bleaching it naturally till it went white. After that I dyed it pink (shame, haven't got pics) and then after that firetruck red will put up pics) - it was awesome, my hair looked like it was on fire! lol. Next, I'm going purple :P
